Grab your CU’s ‘Passport to learning’ and get travelling!

Discovery Martial Arts Academy is now an official learning destination for Plymouth Children’s University.  If you have a distant recollection of your child enthusiastically waving their ‘Passport to learning’ at you without really knowing what it was all about or you filed it away in a drawer somewhere, now is the time to retrieve it and get the journey underway!

We can stamp your child’s passport at the end of every Discovery session they attend to help them gain their bronze, silver and gold certificates and ultimately boost them towards Summer’s graduation day at Plymouth University!

Taekwondo @Discovery Martial Arts Academy = WOW! factor

Childrens UniversityFor those unfamiliar with the scheme, the Children’s University aims to encourage children aged 7 to 14 to take part in high quality, exciting and learning activities with a ‘WOW!” factor, outside of normal school hours.     Its aim is to raise aspirations, boost achievement and foster a love of learning so that young people can make the most of their abilities and interests.

Don’t worry if your child doesn’t have a Passport to Learning.  If they would like to start travelling we can get one for you and backdate the stamps so they don’t miss out.  Enjoy the journey!

Our Taekwon Tigers (4-6yrs), Juniors (7-12yrs) and Adults (13+) train at a variety of venues in Plympton, Plymstock and Plymouth.  First timers can try it out for free:  https://discoverymaa.co.uk/timetables/
